I have owned a Gerber multi-tool for years. I liked that I could open and close the pliers with one hand, and the pliers were strong. The problem came when I need another tool, either the knife blade, or the screw driver. You would have to open up the pliers, and with both hands hold the pliers open while you looked for the right tool. It was just kind of a pain. When I saw this knife, I knew that it was going to replace my Gerber. It's a whole lot of knife, (where I think a lot of multi-tools skimp) some decent pliers, strong scissors, and the two screw drivers. All of them are accessible with one hand, opening and closing. Everything that you need, and nothing that you don't. Who needs a leather punch anyway? I've had mine for awhile now and I love it. I love most everything that Buck makes, but I'll share more about that later.

A Very Cool Watch
I always thought that the Mondaine watches, especially the classic, were beautiful, simple, and not terribly expensive as far as watches go. So many watches out there have so many gew gaws and gadgets that you almost can't tell time with them. They are too crowded, and complicated. This watch is so elegantly, simply designed. I totally want one.
